This is my 3rd purchase of a King Kong bag. I have an over the shoulder bag and have used it daily for the past 6 years! Still in great shape. My husband’s first bag was stolen (someone is happy), so I recently bought him the new back pack for his birthday. He loves it, of course. I highly recommend King Kong bags...stylish, roomy and everyone will know you workout
Very impressed with this bag and the quality! This was a gift for my husband for hitting his weight loss goal and making fitness a priority and he absolutely loves it. It fits all of the CF necessities and I know it'll be a favorite when he travels for work.
This bag is great, what I have been in search of for a long time. It fits quite a lot and is still pretty easy to lug around. The only issue I have had is sometimes it will be too large to fit in the gym lockers but no real way around that if you are carrying a lot of stuff. Seems like quality is there and will last for a long time to come.
I was in the market for a bag that I could take to the gym with all my essentials and also use it for overnight work trips. This bag handles both needs. I love the ability to pack items like a suitcase for my overnight work trips and the additional storage areas assist with the organization of items you carry. Having the laptop compartment separate from the internal storage area is a pro move too! The top compartment is perfect for throwing my keys/wallet inside when I go to the gym for quick access when I am placing it in the locker and then getting it out after a workout. The only con I would point out is that it's a little too bulky for a carry on if you plan to store it under the seat in front of you on a plane. If you plan to store it above in the bulkhead, you should be fine. Overall, this bag
I’m a gym owner, so I’ve been using this as my primary bag for work and training. I switched from the King Kong duffle, as it was too much space for me and lacked a tablet/computer sleeve. Pros: The build quality on this bag is a really nice step up from past King Kong bags I’ve seen. Materials are thick and heavy duty. Straps are comfortable Plenty of handles to grab onto when hauling in and out of the car, etc The snap closure straps are very clever. Really easy to disengage but strong at the same time. The suitcase style opening feature is great for a gym bag, so you can see all the junk you’ve thrown in there. Cons: The big one is lack of padding on the bottom of the laptop compartment. Dropped my bag from waist height with my iPad in it and it snapped the end off my Apple Pencil...there goes $150. The sides all seem very well padded, so I’m not sure how the bottom got overlooked. While the snap closures are a fantastic innovation, I find myself leaving them unhooked on one side most of the time as it makes it very difficult to access the main compartment quickly. This leaves the closures flapping around - so maybe some way to tuck them away when not used would be helpful? The front compartment ends up being kind of dead space for me - its very tall but not deep - so it seems great for pens, papers, etc but not good for thicker items like laptop chargers and such. So I end up with a pretty massive compartment holding a few pens and some mail.
