Tropical Summer Smoothie Prep

Summer Meal Prep Smoothie

 

Per smoothie:

  • 1 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 tsp psyllium husk
  • 1 scoop pea protein powder (or your choice of vanilla protein powder)
  • 3 tbsp coconut yogurt 
  • 1/2 banana 
  • 40g blueberries 
  • 50g strawberries 
  • 1 pineapple ring 

 

Directions:

  1. Portion banana, blueberries, strawberries and pineapple into freezer bags. Tip: for a thicker consistency freeze fruits for at least 24 hours ahead of blending. 

  2. On the day: Empty contents of freezer bag into blender. Add coconut water, psyllium husk, pea protein and coconut yogurt to blender. 

  3. Blend on high for 2-3 minutes or until visible chunks are broken down.  

  4. Enjoy!
